Conquer the Obstacles of Early Sobriety

The Road to Recovery Starts Here

Lynwood House is a structured living environment for men in early recovery located in Jackson, Mississippi. The safe and supportive environment allows the residents to begin the recovery process. All clients are subject to random drug screens and daily curfews as well as breathalyzers.

This structured environment will be the foundation for the lifestyle they need to maintain sobriety and become successful members of society. Residents at Lynwood House learn to live again, one day at a time through the twelve steps of AA.

Spiritual Laws

We use and live by Spiritual Laws which govern our world. If we know how they work, we can use them for our highest good.

  1. Law of Consent – Giving others permission to help us eliminate self-delusion.
  2. Law of Caring – If you do not care about yourself through your actions, the world cannot and will not care about you.
  3. Law of Cause and Effect – What I put out will return to me ALWAYS.
  4. Law of Use – If we do not use it, we lose it.
  5. Law of Responsibility – Our Higher Power will not do for us what we are supposed to do.
  6. Law of Substitution – Turning away from negative self-talk.
  7. Law of Relaxation – In all mental work: be relaxed, gentle, and unhurried.
  8. Law of Subconscious Activity – As soon as our subconscious mind accepts an idea it will begin immediately to put it into effect, both good ideas and bad ideas.
  9. Law of Practice – Practice is the price of proficiency.
  10. Law of Forgiveness – In your heart, and to all.
  11. Law of Growth – What we think upon grows.
  12. Law of Intent – Set our intent and watch it manifest in our life through action.
